RULES FOR GROUP DISCUSSION

STRUCTURE:

The competition will have two levels:

• Preliminary - constitute of multiple parallel group discussions each comprising of a maximum of 10 participants (one group).

• Final — Three individuals from each group will qualify for the final round.

RULES:

• The students will be randomly assigned to a group.

• The topics of discussion for each group will be released at the venue.

TIMING:

• Each speaker is allowed a maximum of 3 minutes ata stretch to put forward their points. The moderator will ensure that every participant gets equal chance to speak.

• The whole discussion will go on for 1 hour.
